YouTube
Paste a YouTube link in the room. Both players load the same video and every control stays in sync — ads excluded, sadly, those are between you and YouTube.
For exactly two viewers
Eigakan plays the same YouTube video, MP4 or local file on two screens at once. Press play, pause or seek — your partner's player follows within a blink. No accounts, no uploads of the video itself. Just a room code.
Shown to your partner inside the room — a name tag, not a login.
You get a 6-character code. Send it to your one and only guest — the room locks at two.
Paste a YouTube link in the room. Both players load the same video and every control stays in sync — ads excluded, sadly, those are between you and YouTube.
A direct MP4 URL — for example a private, expiring link to your own file storage — plays in the built-in player with full seek sync.
Both pick the same file from your own devices. The file never leaves either machine — only play and pause travel.
Rooms are enforced on the server: a third connection is refused, full stop. Room codes use an alphabet with no look-alike characters.
One of you creates a room and shares the code or link. The other joins — that fills the room.
Paste a YouTube or MP4 link, or both select the same local file. Loading is itself a synced event.
Play, pause, seek and speed travel between players with latency compensation, and a heartbeat quietly corrects drift.
